Cheryl Moore / Certified Training Instructor

Cheryl has been involved in the stormwater, erosion and sediment control profession since 1985. During her years of experience in the construction industry, her responsibilities have ranged from FDOT project coordination, site evaluations, NPDES inspections, design proposals and cost estimating.

She has been a State Certified Inspector since 1999 and a State Certified Trainer since 2002 for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Stormwater, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training Program. She has taught more classes and has certified more people than any other trainer in the state.  In addition she is an FDEP Advanced Inspector / Instructor and has taught at a number of FDEP Train the Trainer Programs.

As of February 2007, she was contracted by the Florida Stormwater Association to teach the Level One Operator’s Certification Course and The Best Management Practice Selection Program.  She is a licensed continuing education provider through the Department of Professional and Business Regulation and the Board of Professional Engineers. She is also a certified communications trainer for the People Map System.   

Conference exhibition, teaching and moderating of training classes are the functions that she is most well known for throughout many of the construction affiliated entities. These entities include the Florida Engineering Society, American Society of Civil Engineers, Florida Public Works Association, Florida Chamber Environmental Permitting and Florida Transportation Builders Association.
